These Terms of Sale apply to all orders placed with HUG through this website. HUG is the social enterprise gifting range of The Village Co. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Order Acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy the products you have selected. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product information, or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will provide a full refund.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include shipping costs or applicable taxes and duties unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely at the time of order and must be received in full before your order is dispatched.

Product Descriptions

We aim to describe and display our products as accurately as possible. Colours, sizes and packaging may vary slightly from images shown due to display settings or product updates.

Exchanges and Store Credit

We offer exchanges and store credit rather than refunds for change of mind. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details, including your rights under Australian Consumer Law for faulty, damaged or incorrect items.

Limitation of Liability

References to "HUG", "we" and "us" in these terms include The Village Co., its officers, employees and volunteers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HUG and The Village Co. are not liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential (including loss of enjoyment, opportunity or goodwill), arising from or in connection with your use of this website, any delay or failure in delivery, or the use or misuse of our products. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our election, to the replacement or repair of the product, the resupply of the relevant service, or the cost of doing so. Our products are gifts and self-care items, not medical or therapeutic goods, and should be used as directed on individual product packaging. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
